The ICPC are pleased to have attended the Technical Experts Group meeting organised by the Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Building (Bundesministerium fur Wohnen, Stadtentwicklung und Bauwesen, BMWSB) which reiterates its commitment to highlight and make sustainable urban development a key theme of the upcoming G7 Summit, which will take place at the end of June in Bern, under the German Presidency.

Under the theme “Urban Development Track”, this meeting brought together international agencies and NPOs to develop a common position on inclusive and sustainable urban development, to develop cooperation in this field and to highlight the importance of the role of cities in achieving the global sustainable development goals.
